Mr. Zickel is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, a graduate of the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development and is a graduate of the Executive MBA Program at Stony Brook University Graduate School of Business. He is the founder of B. ATKINS & Co, Distinctive Ice Creams, which in four years became the #1 distributor of gourmet ice creams to top restaurants in its market. Following the sale of this business Mr. Zickel has been providing financial and advisory services to early stage ventures and is an adjunct professor at Stony Brook University Graduate School of Business. Previously, he spent 20 years with Chase Manhattan Bank, formerly Chemical Bank, with assignments in the US and Europe. He held a series of Chief Financial Officer and other senior business management positions. Mr. Zickel began his professional career in Public Accounting, training with Hill Vellacott, the oldest firm of Chartered Accountants in the City of London, being exposed to a wide range of businesses in many industries, from the smallest Sole Proprietorships to the largest International Public Companies. During his 10 years in Public Accounting, he also served with BDO Stoy Hayward in London, and KPMG in Milan, Italy.
